The Arm
Your arm is made up of 3 bones, the humerus, radius, and ulna.
The Humerus
★ Head is proximal and medially positioned
★ The lesser tubercle is positioned anterolaterally on the shaft
★ The greater tubercle is positioned superoposteriorly on the shaft
★ Nutrient foramen should look like they are tunneling into the bone towards the elbow. Humerus nutrient foramen tunnels inferior/down, the radius and ulna tunner superior/up !
★ The olecranon fossa is the largest of the 3 indentations and is the only one located posteriorly.
★ The coronoid fossa is the largest hollow on the anterior surface
★ The radial fossa is the smallest of the three hollows. It is laterally positioned on the anterior surface
